Welcome to The Maintenance Excellence Institute International

"Maintenance Excellence Begins with PRIDE-in-Maintenance"

World Class Team:

Our worldwide Alliance Team Members (ATM) are all successful companies; with some being semi-competitors and many as individual sole proprietors. They make up a World Class team of professionals to help your journey toward reliability and maintenance excellence. We have no objection from you contacting them directly for support.

Today’s Best Benchmarking & Assessment Tools:

Our overall service level covers all 27 best practices from today's best benchmarking tool. The Scoreboard for Maintenance Excellence for plant maintenance. Our four other Scoreboards include: The Scoreboard for Facilities Management Excellence, The Scoreboard for Fleet Management Excellence, and The Scoreboard for Healthcare Facilities Management Excellence.

Focused & Experienced:

Our Alliance Team Process allows TMEII to build a very focused and experienced Alliance Team for not only consulting to plant and facility maintenance operation but to almost all types of maintenance. Other maintenance areas include fleet, healthcare facilities, golf courses and the "green industry".

TMEII feels strongly that there are really no competitors in the reliability and maintenance excellence consulting and training business. The reason being is that "there is so much worldwide need and so little time" with relatively few qualified resources available.

Joel Leonard nicknamed ‘Maintenance Evangelist’, is Chairman of the National Defense Manufacturing Workforce Committee in the US. He also works with SkillTV. A former vice-president of the Association for Facilities Engineering, Joel is taking the lead internationally in identifying, explaining and helping to solve the problem. His creative strategies to build awareness have included holding job fairs specific to the maintenance industry, writing articles, and public speaking from major conventions to high school classes, writing songs, developing an on-line TV network, and now writing books. As a result of his efforts, Joel was appointed to the United States Council on Competitiveness, a national think-tank whose purpose is to work with legislators and the White House to inform policy decisions that lead to effective strategies for economic development. Internationally, corporate and governmental leaders are seeking Joel's advice and he has been interviewed on National Public Radio and CNBC. He works in the trenches to build pipelines of qualified skilled technicians, by consulting with community colleges and workforce development boards Visit SkillTV.net and see how professionals are solving the maintenance skills shortage. Watch videos, listen to podcasts, and read articles that reveal the depth of this crisis ... and what you can do about it.

In order to thrive in the hyper-competitive global marketplace, countries have to upgrade their manufacturing sector and build strong, agile, smart talent pool pipelines. If you haven't already noticed, the maintenance industry is fast losing its most qualified and reliable workers – through retirement and attrition – and is not replacing them as quickly as required to avert a full-on maintenance crisis. Joel Leonard is one of the few people who have made it a personal mission to turn industry recruitment around. His zeal has earned him the nickname ‘maintenance evangelist’, and he plans to make all media outlets his pulpit for improving the image of this shrinking industry. If New Zealand embraces and develops strong, deep skilled maintenance technician talent pools, he strongly believes that will provide New Zealand a competitive advantage. You are invited to contact Joel at Joel@SkillTV.net anytime. And as Joel often says, “It is Better to Prepare and Prevent than to Repair and Repent.”
